We expect it to run six months to one year.
Alexander Film & Video Services seeks a highly motivated, capable and responsible intern to assist various departments. Whether you are a college student or grown and mature, if you want to learn, we will be willing to teach. AFVS has a history of promoting and hiring from within. However, the internship does not guarantee future employment with AFVS. The internship is unpaid, academic credit can be issued. As the position is unpaid we try to be as understanding as possible about other commitments but we do ask that if/when we do set a schedule, with your input obviously, that you adhere to it. In the past we have asked for between 15-25 hours (2-3 days) per week from the interns mostly during regular business hours (8:30am-5:30pm).
The successful candidate is interested in multi-media production and has had some video production experience. This is an awesome opportunity for the right person. Candidates must be computer savvy, possess a strong work ethic and be interested in video production. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Professional appearance and demeanor, has customer service skills, videographer, lighting & sound assistant, video editing, converting analog media to digital media, creating Hollywood style DVD photo slide shows, CD/DVD duplication and printing, graphic art design and basic office duties.
