Aspiring Filmmakers Wanted to Produce How-To Shorts

Howcast.com is looking for up-and-coming filmmakers, web video producers, film students and recent grads to shoot and edit entertaining yet informative how-to shorts.

Get creative and make some extra money. Build your reel while you experiment with new production techniques for a new media client. See your videos distributed and promoted across the web (on AOL, Yahoo!, Break, Hulu and others) and beyond (to iPhone, iTunes, TiVo, and others).
  • Topics range from 'How To Open a Bottle of Wine' to 'How To Deal with Being Shy'
  • Shoot on your own schedule
  • Every accepted video receives a stipend and revenue sharing, and accepted directors go on to produce multiple Howcast spots
Howcast provides a short script, graphics, pre-recorded voice-over and audio tracks from our growing music library. You provide the vision and basic requirements: 3-chip camera or better, video editing software. (Tripod and lights also helpful.)
