SAG Conservatory Opportunity

CFS STUDENT: SAG has agreed to let our students attend this SAG conservatory if they would like (usually only SAG members are invited).

The Colorado SAG Conservatory
“The Best Way to Get Work as an Actor and Commercial Model” Workshop with Aaron Marcus

You have seen him on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “The West Wing,” “The Wire,” “Homicide: Life on the Street,” “McDonald’s,” “Molson Beer” and in 1,142 other acting and modeling projects. Along with being a full-time actor and commercial model with over 1,100 bookings to date, Aaron is also the author of the top selling book, “How to Become a Successful Commercial Model,” which is now in its fifth edition. He has given over 400 workshops throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia and Mexico.

Why should you attend the SAG Conservatory Workshop with Aaron Marcus? He will teach you:

· Special techniques that you should use for every film, TV or commercial audition
· How to deal with nervousness at auditions and on the set
· How to impress industry professionals, and get them to hire you again and again
· How to clearly understand the ingredients that are needed to create strong commercial photos
· Accurately manage and understand the business side of the industry
· Create a strong resume, even if you have not worked very much
· How to use a special technique Aaron has developed that teaches you to use your
acting skills to get print work
· The differences between agents, managers, art directors, creative directors and casting directors
· How to get test photos taken free
· How to create attention getting composite sheets
· Market yourself and get work on your own (even if you don’t have an agent)
· Write a strong cover letter to help you find an agent
· Aaron Marcus will personally critique any head shots or commercial photos

Aaron Marcus actually does what he teaches, and will show you the same techniques that have helped him work as a full-time actor and commercial model since 1986. This information is invaluable to anyone interested in pursuing acting or commercial modeling as a career or a part-time job.
