STUDENT JUDGES NEEDED
for The Vail Film Festival’s Screenplay Competition


WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All CFS students and alumni who have completed, or are currently enrolled in, a minimum of one screenwriting class at CFS. Exemptions may be granted for applicants with adequate screenwriting experience.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?
- Each judge is required to read and evaluate up to 20 feature-length screenplays over a two week period starting on Tuesday, December 20th, 2010.
- Each judge must evaluate these screenplays in a professional and objective fashion without bias or prejudice.
- Each judge who volunteers agrees to evaluate assigned screenplays in the manner set forth by the Vail Film Festival and ensures the festival the he/she will perform the task to the best of his/her abilities and meet all deadlines set forth.
- Writers who enter the 2011 VFF competition are ineligible.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A JUDGE?
Each student judge will receive one Avanti Pass to the Vail Film Festival, March 31st - April 3rd, 2011 in Vail, Colorado and the unique experience of reading and evaluating officially submitted screenplays to a professional screenplay contest.
