International Journalist Ethan Casey is coming to the Colorado Film School to talk about International Journalism/ Documentary Film Production.

Ethan Casey will be hosting the Producing 1 Class on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. We hope many will take advantage of this unique opportunity.

Ethan is an international journalist who has spent considerable time in Pakistan. His first book on Pakistan has been out for a couple years and he is finishing a second book on Pakistan this spring. This second book is based on a six-week visit there he did last spring with a photographer—at about the same time that an article in The Atlantic Monthly referred to Pakistan as the most dangerous country in the world. Ethan will be talking about Pakistan with us and the people he met and talked with there. He is knowledgeable about world issues as well as Pakistan, and he is an engaging speaker, so time with him will be time well spent. His visit with us is part of our effort to “globalize our curriculum” and create a greater awareness of the global community we all live in.
