The Clearwater Film Festival Seeks Submissions

The Clearwater Film Festival, set to debut September 29 - October 3, 2010, is now open for submissions and we would love to see your work. The Clearwater Film Festival is a platform built to showcase seasoned filmmakers and emerging artists who demonstrate the synergy of the actor, writer and director. When great talents work harmoniously the results may be beautiful, questionable or even shocking. When the talents of the actor, writer and director belong to the same person, the triple-threat filmmaker, those results are often extraordinary. It is here that we applaud those efforts. Quality film submissions of any length are welcome from all genres worldwide. You need not be a “triple-threat filmmaker” to participate, just show us what great teamwork can do, and bring your vision. We also seek a feature film to showcase with World Premiere status for our opening night gala. We intend our Premiere Film Event to take place in one of the only theaters in Florida that seats over 2,000 people. All genres will be considered. While our festival is based in Florida we are focused on an international appeal and encourage filmmakers from around the world to join us. If you would like the opportunity to have a specific forum please let us know. Besides showing great films we will hold educational panels and are seeking sponsors to host them. We expect 4,000 - 8,000 people here our first year and this may be a brilliant opportunity to encourage filmmaking at your school.
